Once Upon A Time At The Bagh
A Legacy Reimagined for the Modern Epicurean.
Essence
Indian heritage, In the heart of Aravali
Once Upon A Time At The Bagh operates within the 18th-century Vidhyadhar Ji Ka Bagh, a historic garden named after Jaipur’s chief architect, Vidyadhar Bhattacharya. The venue was established to integrate a modern dining experience into a preserved piece of local history, allowing visitors to eat alongside traditional stepwells, expansive lawns, and ancient fountains. The restaurant's layout utilizes the original architectural spaces, including outdoor courtyard seating and the Neela Mahal, an ornate indoor dining room designed in blue and white. Set against the scenic backdrop of the Aravali hills, the establishment focuses on serving North Indian and Rajasthani cuisine while actively maintaining the regal, architectural heritage of the Pink City.
